A born natural

Melissa is a recent BA (Hons) Acting graduate from the University of Northampton. Born and based in Manchester, she has a regional Mancunian accent.

As well as acting, Melissa is skilled in movement, dance and cheerleading (for which she competed nationally). Recent performances include Aladdin as Soapy Sophie, Romeo & Juliet as Sampson, The Angry Brigade as Parker and A Streetcar Named Desire as Stella. These have enabled her to show her versatility.

Melissa has a passion for Children’s Theatre and Comedy, a career path she would love to pursue. However, she also enjoys more serious character roles.

During her training, Melissa gained intermediate qualifications in APC Stage Combat both unarmed and armed. She is also Estill Voice trained and has weekly lessons in the Alexander Technique. Keen to develop these additional skills further, Melissa continues to train and participate in workshops.
